UPDATE 3 PM CDT – After the rollout of a software update yesterday at approximately 6 PM CDT, devices that utilize the Roku TV software began experiencing an issue where linear cable and antenna television channels were not able to be viewed. This issue has affected a large portion of Glasgow EPB’s cable TV subscriber base. While it seemed at first that this issue was something that could be solved with a couple of routine troubleshooting tactics, however, it is now apparent that the issue is a global problem that will not be completely resolved until a patch for the software is published by Roku. Below are support numbers for some of the most common television brands that utilize Roku TV software in addition to the customer support number for Roku.

UPDATE – It is now confirmed that this issue is persistent across all Roku TV devices on a global scale. At this time there is not a definite remedy to this issue until Roku TV pushes through an update to patch this problem. For those who would like to contact Roku TV, please call 1-800-300-8837. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused GEPB cable customers but this issue is unfortunately out of our control until the software is fixed.
Overnight, the Roku TV software used by television brands such as Hisense, Onn, Vizio, TCL, and more had a software update that is now causing Glasgow EPB Cable TV customers to not be able to view their cable channels. This post features a couple of remedy options that should resolve this issue. Option 1: Hide Streaming Channels from Roku Live TV Settings
Go to settings on your TV
Navigate to the TV Inputs tab
Click Live TV
Click Hide streaming TV channels
Select Hide All option
Option 2: Re-Scan for Channels
Go to Settings on your TV
Click TV Inputs
Select Live TV
Select Set up input
Follow the instructions on the screen to scan for cable channels. This scanning process may take up to 30 minutes.
